Chopin's The Story of an Hour: Kate Chopin

I really enjoyed this short story, the words Kate Chopin used to describe Mrs. Mallards happiness really helped me understand the joy of finally being "free". Then to finish the story her dying, really showed how happy she was and how fast that happiness can be taken away.  I also liked how the story showed women empowerment and the the fact that women don't need a husband to live a happy and fulfilling life.
